What is UCP?
The Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP) is the open standard, backed by Google and Shopify, that lets AI agents discover stores, query their catalog and complete purchases safely. A store adopts it by publishing a profile at /.well-known/ucp declaring its capabilities: checkout, cart, catalog search or payment methods.
